Wild Wood Rooms

Wild Wood Rooms offers modern, innovative meeting and conference space in a fantastic Worcestershire location. All rooms are fully air conditioned and equipped with state of the art audiovisual equipment. 

Problem

Finding an effective meeting space can be challenging for any business, what’s even more challenging is finding meeting space with a flexible audiovisual system to suit a variety of needs. With a large meeting room that partitions in to two smaller ones, Wild Wood Rooms required an AV solution that would do the same. With other meeting rooms of varying sizes, they recognised that they needed a specialist audiovisual design and install company to provide a solution. 

 

Solution

Working with Wild Rooms, Talk AV came up with a solution to maximise the potential of each meeting room.

Rooms included:

  • Reception
  • Board Room
  • Small Meeting Room
  • Partitioned Meeting Room

 

As a starting point we agreed that all rooms would have a 47” LCD screen installed with HDMI, VGA and 3.5mm jack interfaces in both the floor and the wall. These would provide plug and play capability for anyone using a laptop for a presentation.

Due to the sizes of the boardroom and partitioned meeting room (when open), we installed a projector housed in an electronically controlled scissor lift, and an electronically controlled drop down screen. Both of which had wall switches for simple operation. The multiple floor and wall interfaces installed in these rooms provided a flexible solution to plug your laptop in have it displayed on all of the screens. When the partitioned meeting room is closed there is an automatic over riding capability, designed by Talk AV, which means that when there is more than one laptop plugged in at a different interface, it will be displayed on the nearest LCD or projector screen.

 

Result

The bespoke audiovisual equipment in Wild Wood Rooms several meeting and conference spaces can all be used to their full capability just by plug and play. The simple solution means that no training is required to use the facilities and this has been a unique selling point.
